We are becoming really creative with our structures and using a huge variety of small parts. Yesterday these boys made an animal enclosure from Pets at Home.

These boys enjoyed working together to complete a jigsaw.

Over the last few weeks, we have absolutely loved participating in the YMI sessions. This has given us amazing experiences of early literacy, dance, singing and parachute games to name but a few! Look at the absolute joy on display during our recent session.

We are learning how to assess our own learning and identify the next steps. 'E' decided she would practise the sound 't' within her play. 👏 👏

We are exploring Autumn and we discussed the colour of the leaves at the moment. We decided to use orange, red, yellow and brown leaves for our trees.

While I was helping some other pupils, 'J' decided to take on the role of the teacher and begin our teacher task. 👏 👏

We designed and made different type of garages for our cars.

We are playing a game of common word bingo to practise our words.

'I' decided to use the drawing pad to practise the 's' sound.

All pupils have really embraced the activities, what a fantastic start to our sound journey!

This week, we are focusing on the 'a' and 't' sound. We have sang the jolly phonic songs for both sounds and also participated in a variety of activities to help us learn the sounds.

As part of looking at the orange cog in Emotion Works, we identified nice feelings and not so nice feelings. We then worked
with a partner to display this on a chart.

We are having fun exploring numbers through a variety of different ways.

These boys showed that they could multitask and enjoyed a fantastic book while building a marble run.

Some of us decided to carry out a shape hunt around the classroom to see if we could identify the shapes that we have been learning.

We are beginning to recognise our emotions and how this looks. We used mirrors to help us see what our facial features do when we are happy. We also used play dough to make a happy face.

We are learning to identify 2d shapes. We really enjoyed this active game in the gym hall to help us identify squares, circles, rectangles and triangles.

P1KD have really enjoyed the recent lovely weather where we have spent time with our friends on the play trail.

Within our Numeracy, we are learning to form, recognise and order numbers to 10. 'R' decided to take his learning into Play and created Zero the Hero on his drawing pad.

'R' displayed awesome counting and ordering skills during his number task. 👏 👏

We really enjoyed this shopping game and it was lovely to see fantastic turn taking and listening skills while learning to play this game.
