I think Obama getting elected and immediately going “whoopsie it’s actually complicated and I’m NOT going to shut down Guantanamo like I promised” was the final straw in my radicalization.

It’s what they call the block here that just disappears someone from your timeline completely. If you block someone or are blocked by someone you don’t get the annoying notices about blocks like you would on Twitter. It’s like they never existed, which is great!

I was excited when murmurs came back but it wasn’t great, needed moderation and the option to block people, and became a ghost town pretty quickly. But maybe I’m just way past needing murmurs at this point in my life.

Yeah Facebook groups are the only thing that keeps me on that site. The big difference between that and Twitter is that I don’t actively see white supremacist stuff every three posts on Facebook. Twitter is the internet version of the hanging out at a Nazi bar thing.

Yeah in regards to the original image, I agree 100%. That said, it does feel like some people here want them to fail so they can be right. I don’t think less of fans who just want to see their team win and I hope the team does just that even if I’m cynical about it.
