Good luck to all the creators dealing with this, and remember, those that enjoy your work are the people that matter. Everyone likes different stuff, and a whole lot of the best writers out there have gotten persecuted for their art. You're in good company, don't let people get you down.

People are absolutely insane to be doing that sort of thing and I cannot stress enough that people need to remember that the very valuable skill of not consuming media they don't like is still an option, especially if their other ideas are to harass the creators.
