What's a better metaphor then that acknowledges that the mall and its Armageddeon-desirous tenants control the most nuclear weaponry on the planet?

Maybe a better metaphor would be an abandoned mall filled with asbestos, toxic mold and hazardous chemicals. Like Chernobyl, it's far too expensive and dangerous to tear it down. It needs to be totally encased by a thick concrete bunker to protect everyone. But that's not going to happen.

Calling the Trump administration and its supporters a swamp is ignorant of how much good swamps do for us. Calling it a sewer is also not fair because they help us live closer together without disease.

Trump demands Harvard get rid of diversity initiatives yet every one of its departments must have "viewpoint diversity". You see: he and his bootlickers aren't against diversity per se — just the kind that challenges their power.
