This landscape-oriented photo is a black-eyed susan except tucked against the middle of the flower is a perfectly blended-in crab spider. A white-banded crab spider, maybe? Even though there's no white band -- this spider is yellow as the flower's pedals, with reddish Rorshach test ink blots on its plump crabby body that also blends into the center of the flower. It's really something else. You can barely see it. Spiders are so cool. They're great. Okay, I warned you yesterday but SPIDER POST SPIDER POST SPIDER POST. Look. Spiders are great! They're our friends. They do good work out there and in our houses. I love spiders and how can you not love THIS spider, who is both a work of art *and* wildly successful at this game of hide-and-seek?
