Yes, and it’s why White America needs to look inward. The people who vote for the MAGA politicians care more about hurting Black people regardless of the fact—not opinion—that Democratic policies have led to more prosperity for them.

I will say this plainly. White America needs to let go of its racism. Every Democratic administration has offered something materially good for it AND tried to address systemic racism. White voters keep voting for people harming them because those politicians promise to hurt Black people.
