There's some interesting data out of last week's German election, where the 18-24 vote was basically split between the Left and AfD, the two most extreme parties. The centrist establishment parties don't start gaining steam until you get to the 35+ crowd.

Its only saving grace this year is the Kendrick Lamar halftime show, I reckon. That, and the faint hope that Trump might get booed (god, I hope that happens).

Just FYI, this is not an article but a "Kommentar", similar to an op-ed. Did a quick search yesterday and most of the news articles I saw were calling it some version of 'Hitler salute-like gesture', rather than calling a spade a spade.

Definitely accurate for Germany, but I'm wondering in how far this is also a trend that's observable elsewhere? Seems like a clear result of how we consume information these days (and are in turn consumed by it).
