NSA detected phone call between foreign intelligence and a person close to Trump
Whistleblower says that Tulsi Gabbard blocked agency from sharing report and delivered it to White House chief of staff
Not sure how to read this as anything other than Trump's handpicked Director of National Intelligence betraying the United States and doing so to protect him from revelation of the fact that his regime is secretly working with a hostile foreign intelligence agency

We've spent ten years being proved right about all the things the loudest, biggest voices in the UK media insisted, often obnoxiously, we were wrong about. The real kicker is that there's no consolation whatsoever in being correct. Brexit, Putin, Johnson, Truss, Trump, Twitter, Netanyahu etc etc...

This thread responds to Prof. Christian Dunnβs Telegraph piece on #climate communication.
I argue it misdiagnoses public disengagement, underplays escalating scientific risk, & reproduces a media narrative that has actively shaped, not merely reflected, public resistance to climate action π§΅

Excellent thread and right on the money. People just dont get it. I can travel miles on power generated from my own roof. I dont have to bow down to global oil for each trip. Expand to country scale and we are much more secure if a crisis happens. Add in hydro or similar for storage. Wonderful.

Exactly this. I have heat pump solar battery and just had an islanding device installed. Power goes out i can still charge my car and go places. I have spent money on this instead of high carbon holidays.
No panic buying fuel from oil rich nations.

Graph: the UK's net-zero costs are falling
The cost of reaching net zero in the UK by 2050 is now predicted to be just 0.2% of GDP (about Β£4 billion per year).
Spread this far and wide. It reveals Reform and the Conservatives' opposition to net zero for being 'too expensive' as just plain wrong.
