Iβm sure it will be just as stunning as your other albums. When can we expect the vinyl preorder?

11.11.2025 03:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lesson learned today:
My older self got 4 vaccines yesterday. I need to do less, at one time, going forward.
Literally the first lyric on the album is βIt doesnβt matter if we all dieβ.

We all need a little bit of βGene, Gene, the Dancing Machineβ:

They just didnβt get it. I donβt think they ever did, because they never talked about politics.
The last stanza of that song, god damn:
βIf we donβt take action now/
We settle for nothing later/
Settle for nothing now/
And we settle for nothing laterβ.
I didnβt listen to RATM when they were originally around because the potheads I wasted my time with would play the S/T all the time. The music was fine, but I notes to them βare you listening to the lyricsβ? I was, because my love of writing lyrics and political fire stoked in me from Dead Kennedys.
06.04.2025 02:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Fine with it, and understood it, along with βSword of Damoclesβ, which came from one of his favorite stories. The end of βWhatβs Goodβ hits like a ton of bricks:

Lifeβs good/

I lost my father in law on 1/8 to cancer, from his second bout with cancer. The second round was faster moving. I sent him a copy of the song, as he was a fan of VU in the 1960βs and actually saw them once in concert. I was worried about my MILβs sensitives to art that may offend her, but heβ¦

βWhatβs Goodβ definitely makes you think about the absurdities of life, but understanding the difficulties of losing that person in your life to cancer. I didnβt understand the song as much in 1992, at 17. Now, hitting 50 this year, it definitely resonatesβ¦
Day 19: A song that makes you think about life.

Day 17: A song youβd sing a duet with someone on karaoke:
I would never do karaoke, nor duet with people doing it. I would nominate Simon and Garfunkelβs βMy Little Townβ.
Something poppy, but disturbing.
