Wahlumfragen zur Bundestagswahl Übersicht der aktuellen Ergebnisse der Sonntagsfrage zur Bundestagswahl

I'd qualify that.
Only three of the 9 main pollsters have AfD ahead.
Allensbach, Verian, Forschungsgruppe Wahlen and Infratest Dimap have never had AfD in the lead. Yougov only briefly once.

Against one of those Red Bull creatures.

Not sure what the standard here is, but I am quite certain the Scottish Premier League is sub that, too.

Ideas to devalue your Β£2m home:

Install an outdoors glass cubicle toilet on your front drive and make sure you use it regularly. Keep eye contact with anyone who sees you using it.

They are doing political scientist a favour by proving that the left-authoritarian quadrant is emptier than quite a few measures seem to suggest.

This is a generally good read about a genuinely and enjoyably weird character in the history of philosophy.

It also contains a great take-down of the genre "literary and intellectual biography, a form beloved of the British", and of its audiences.

This is a great illustration. And fewer young people will correlate very highly with AfD vote which is by far the highest in rural areas of Eastern Germany.

A map of Germany consisting of hexagons. Each hexagon is filled by color according to the share of people aged between 15 and 24. Eastern Germany shows much lower shares, while many western and southern areas have noticeably more young people.

This hex-map breaks down the share of 15-24 year-olds in Germany and the regional contrast is hard to miss.

Eastern Germany shows much lower shares except for larger cities, while many western and southern areas have noticeably more young people.

I’ve been running around asking tech execs and academics if language was the same as intelligence for over a year now - and, well, it isn’t. @benjaminjriley.bsky.social explains how the bubble is built on ignoring cutting-edge research into the science of thought www.theverge.com/ai-artificia...

Not from first to last but from penultimate to last, it would be Seinfeld. 8 brilliant seasons and then a terrible 9th.

Precisely the same. Everything aside from 9, 13 and 20. Also for very much then same reasons.

I do love this piece so much. Because it is a rant, which the situation deserves and requires.

Indeed, everything is going to shit, but needs facilitators to go to shit, and they and us continue to pretend like there is still a normality going on.

I hope I never forget the revolting feeling of standing at the front of a classroom, warning students that they should carry evidence of immigration status or citizenship, and helping them understand how to respond if federal agents try to kidnap them or their friends off the street.

For those who didn’t catch it:🚨 We’ve released 3 additional panel waves via @GESIS, bringing the total to 71 waves of survey data. Spanning Sep 2012–May 2024, the GIP dataset is fully accessible for researchers studying trends, attitudes, and social changes over more than a decade.

The last ice hockey game I went to was Dynamo vs. Spartak in Moscow in 1991, before the exodus of all the Russians to the NHL.
Probably the most high quality sports thingy I have ever watched. It did lack all of the violence that's also to be cherished with ice hockey, though.
