Agree...I have taken my basic high school Spanish all over the world and used it to speak to residents in Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Trinidad/Tobago, Cuba and here at home in Puerto Rico. Being able to dialog with folks with other viewpoints this way has broadened my world perspective immeasurably.
