Had a hot date today with my wife at the #RoyalTyrrellMuseum today and finally got to check out their newest exhibit and it did not disappoint, this is (I think) the first time they have any mention or display of feathered dinosaurs! Trying #inktober again, I am out of practice but not bad for not drawing for a couple years. Anyways hers day one for “Fly” #inktober2025 looking forward to seeing everyone else’s.

6/? Like there is no argument you can give to me right now that allows for space to be complacent. Learn about minorities, stand up to isms make bigots uncomfortable. Be confident that being inclusive has never been of the wrong side of history.

5/? Means that soon anyone that isn’t a cis, white, man isn’t going to be recognized for their value. Yeah, I know it’s a slippery slope now, but let’s not wait for it to go from bad to worse before something is done!

4/? Like do the work learn the hard thing check your sources. I know it’s hard but this backwards side isn’t going to stop because you don’t want to avoid conflict. We all have to get uncomfortable and do the hard things because allowing space for the ones that can’t see that all lives have value.

3/? I had another conversation come up about how we have to be careful about the things we put in front of people because if they don’t have the skills to defend then we are putting them in a difficult position. And I think I am just exhausted, but can people who are allies be, allies already??

2/? Someone mentioned that they feel frustrated that so much of the conversation is being focused on what books are allowed in the classroom rather than educating our student. Which I again whole heartedly agree with.

When we work to build I life together and knowing all I do to provide her security will be for nothing. Even the widows pension will impact the amount she would get. There is NO getting ahead. The people on AISH in our province is less than 2% let them fucking have a life!

2/2 But if I die then any of my life insurance she has to live on until it is depleted sufficiently before she can apply. Then she gets $1600 a month to pay bills, home repairs, groceries etc. any savings I left will be gone to living expenses. This is forced poverty! It is sickening.

1/2 I would like people to look up how to apply for AISH and the restrictions that they face when applying. I make too much money for my wife who is disabled to qualify. My income takes away from her financial independence. You might think that we make enough she shouldn’t need it. Fine…

Local games stores here, one place for $74 CAD and another for $75 CAD I see online you can get it for as low as $60 CAD which I think is more reasonable for a card heavy game personally. I will likely try and scoop it up second hand. Things be getting $$$ 🖖🏻

I have been looking at this, I really want to get it, but without playing it I’m having a hard time justifying the price for what’s in the box. But everyone who I have talked, whose played it, loves it!
