I once read biographies of Joseph Smith and L. Ron Hubbard and was impressed that both men were fabulists since childhood. They seemed to realize that they were full of b.s., but there are incidents in both their lives that only make sense if they believed some of their ridiculous claims.

Yes. This is going to be a very long and tough fight so everyone needs to take plenty of emotional and mental health breaks to keep up their strength.

YES! ... but what are we as individuals to do now? I already vote, pay for news, give a little money to organizations I like, and contacted my representatives. That's doesn't seem like nearly enough though. Are they any good online lists of organizations to join and other ideas?

How you voted is secret, but I think the fact that you voted in a given election is public information. I'm not sure, but I think people might be able to look up if you voted in a given party's primary election.

Just another note that I use this account almost exclusively for reading other people's posts. But if anyone sees this, I think Bluesky is the Twitter replacement we've long been waiting for. Hopefully it will soon add some way of verifying accounts and saving posts.

Bluesky seems great so far, but I hope they add bookmarks at some point.
