This plan for redevelopment of the former NFB headquarters sounds promising. I’m glad they’ve included below market housing and creative and cultural space.

I’m still so sad to see him leaving as our MP, but I’m also looking forward to what he will do next in our community. Whatever it is, we can be sure it’ll be for the benefit of all.

I’m heartbroken to lose Peter as our representative. And now it’s time to see if our new inexperienced Liberal MP understands the shoes he has to fill and how much he needs to show up for New West.

#NewWest has enjoyed the dedication of Peter Julian for 20 yrs. We couldn’t ask for anyone better to speak for us in Parliament. I want to ensure the Liberals form government, not the Conservatives, but in our riding we need to vote local to send the best candidate back to Ottawa. Peter Julian.

The Landmark Cinema has done community screenings in the past… not sure if it’s something they’re still interested in, but might be worth an ask. The City also used to screen movies outside in Queens Park, maybe that projector and screen are still kicking around somewhere.

Agreed! I’ve been reading about the trade surplus the US actually has with Canada in the service industry. That’s one that will be harder for us to break, but if we could make a dent it could make a difference. Unfortunately it’s a much harder area for us to make personal purchasing changes.

Maybe he’ll give up some of his tee times to run the Kennedy centre… into the ground.
