Tribal leadership is actively working to locate the individual, gather accurate information, and coordinate with the appropriate authorities to secure their release. At this time, details surrounding the detention remain limited. I urge the public to refrain from spreading unverified information while this matter is being reviewed. Standing Rock Sioux Tribe will continue to advocate for the protection of our citizen's rights and will provide updates as appropriate.
