I also find it comically funny the main deck is like $400, but the basics are $5k. Most people do foils, but I can put my basics in every deck I make.

I am usually pretty chill with my cards, but also card count after cubing to make sure that a card didn't find a new owner.

I also have 5k worth of basics in my Ur-Dragon deck as my Dragon Bling. Only the best basics for my Ur-Ma-Durgon.

I feel ya there. I forget that a LOT of my decks have things like OG Duals, hard to find promo cards and other reserved list cards.

I have an alter sleeve on my Gaea's Cradle so it covers the gold border in my cube. Someone thought it was black border. I said it was a proxy gold border.

I know I have my own neurodivergence and issues with game play. It makes me wonder how others deal with their neurodivergence / unique brain processes.

Are they dealing with some type of neurodivergence? Just curious.

What gets me is no order to the board state. Are your cards tapped? untapped? In Phasing limbo at some weird angle? Are we in the shadow realm?

Kamigawa was Known as a poorly selling set, but Neon Dynasty was awesome. You Know what this means? What? Lorwyn was also not received very well at the time, but Lorwyn Eclipsed has been a blast. We need to return to Alara! Yes! Cardboard-crack.com

This was one of the coolest programs @magic.wizards.com ran and I wish they would bring it back. I grew up playing with servicepeoples on base & we had so much fun. Magic was huge in Germany where I lived. Our first base tournament had 160+ people.

Had a "whoopsie" in the feature match area this round for Standard. Dimir Midrange expert Mogged borrowed cards for his deck and had Black Sun's Zenith instead of Day of Black Sun. The players were trying to resolve the spell as printed when they realized it. 😅

When the Dominaria Remastered set came out I had to make my own cube and add these to it. Desolation Angel was such a bomb especially when you have mana dorks out.

I got to play my cube last weekend. People really loved playing it.

Tough call, but Spectral Lynx, Desolation Angel, Spiritmonger and Overgrown Estate are my 4 flavor pics and I played all these cards back in High-school. Lots of history.

This news is hitting me really hard. I would play the world championship deck and still have several of them.

I hope we can get some of his decks as a gold border charity event so players new and old can pilot his amazing decks.

Kai taught me how to play tournament Magic, even though I never met him. Bought his WC deck back in the day and still have cards from it. Sometimes play a version of the deck in Premodern. Sad day.

We are deeply saddened at the news of the passing of Magic legend Kai Budde. His achievements in the game and community go beyond what we could say in one post. Our thoughts go out to Kai's friends and family in this moment.

Is Commander still a a singleton format?

Technically yes, but when you can play 6 or 7 functional reprints of the same card, does the spirit of highlander survive?

The explanation is that @artofheatherhudson.bsky.social needed a great and iconic reserved list card for people to talk about for years to come, so they made this card based on making Animate Dead better while also making blue players sad about not having more cards in hand for Ivory Tower

Also, I would also love to see some male legendary angels. We only have three in universe angels, and one n isn't tournament legal.

That would be cool, rk post is my favorite angel artist. I don't think he has done any new ange art since the Magister of Worth event promo for Conspiracy.

He is the go to artist for angels for me.
