They WILL lie and deceive, and twist your words, and seek to get you into trouble, while following the letter of their instructions.

a) it can't be an immediate danger to you
b) it has to be so scary you would stop filming and leave.
Feel free to play along. The current winner is vulture murmuration.

02.01.2025 16:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's been a long time since I was so swept up by a book that I read it all in one swoop--but I started MARGO'S GOT MONEY TROUBLES by Rufi Thorpe when I got up this morning and didn't put it down until I finished it right after lunch. Totally delightful read.

13.11.2024 11:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Article text: For the last few days I have been kept awake, and looking up in the dark I can see the whale again. The barnacles on its skin, the grooves on its throat, its bigness. I try to comprehend the forces it used to throw itself in to the air and which released when it crashed back down. My friend, Charlotte Kinloch, who was in the kayak with me that morning has been kept awake with the same image - the whale hovering above our beds.
I still think of the opening of this article by Tom Mustill about a humpback whale breaching onto his kayak.
