🚨 this week the coal industry launched a dirty campaign against the independents through an ‘astroturf’ group: ‘australians for progress’.

using classic negative ad styling — complete with misinformation — billboards went up in monique ryan’s & allegra spender’s electorates.

it’s super clear: pro-climate independents are a clear threat to the coal lobby’s stranglehold on australian politics.

independents are proof that when australians take politics into their own hands, real change is possible.

Anyone mad enough to carry that huge wooden plate camera over a mountain range while in the middle of a desperate race for survival … must have been pretty strange!

If Tesla sales are 30% down and EV sales are flat, that tells you:
1) the Chinese have taken that market share and;
2) there’s a ton of people holding out for the tsunami of Chinese EV’s because they’re both better and cheaper.

@dsorennie.bsky.social great last two episodes of Drum Tower from an ‘average’ Chinese city. Very nuanced. I frequently hear ignorant view on or about China from people who have never been nor know next to nothing about its history or culture.
