I think (hope) that they are trying to rebuild match fitness slowly and carefully. Training is not the same as a match, I think it will take until Christmas to get him fully fit if this is the case. He’s strong enough that he can break himself just by really going for it when he’s a bit tired.

We’ve got good players, poorly motivated (hence rubbish at kick off) poorly managed (hence bizarre/non existent passing patterns) who are being dragged along by each other and the supporters. Same as most of the last few years, with the exception of the first 6 months under TC

I think he’s not got full game fitness. I think he’s only got half an hour in him max and risks injury if they push him. He’s a very particular type of player and I think they’re using him the best they can. That or Pezzo is even dafter than he seems!

A good win in the end for #watfordfc - Not sure how much was down to our individual players skill or Hull deciding just to foul their way through the second half. Not sure PP deserves much credit? Maybe for sticking with Semedo? Another poor refereeing display too IMO.

Fully agree with this and have thought it for a few years. I’m sure Gino doesn’t do the whole team every week, but the team selection is so irrational and amateurish I can’t see any other reason for it.

Very positive game. Irankunda proving his show reels are real. Ran out of steam and Kayembe and Semedo both had disappointing games, but we looked hungry and dangerous until they scored. Very different vibe to the team than the last few years, which is definitely a good thing

I did a TikTok about this a while back and people had “opinions”. It works well for early war speeds, not so much for late war. The stats that got me were for the kills per round - hitting a fighter from a waist gun on a B17 was incredibly rare to the point I’m not sure it ever happened.
