Observation from #LFC last night: you can have a great tactical setup but if you lose your duels, can't win second balls, can't make quick and simple passes to relieve pressure, etc., it won't matter. Win your 1v1s, beat your man. Liverpool were great across the board and long may it continue.

I don't understand Gakpo - I've not looked at this in depth but I feel like he's a finisher of moves rather than a contributor to them. And if he's not finishing moves he doesn't give you much. Seems to have no chemistry with anyone around him, especially poor old Kerkez.

I'm so bored of Liverpool players winning the ball back in the middle third or pushing it up a wing only to slowly turn around and pass it back beyond the half way line to the GK or a CB. Zero desire to drive and attack in transition. Gakpo loves to do it.
