a version of the famous lesbian meme comic "the commitment ceremony", featuring Zelda and Link from the video game The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and Twilight princess. In the first panel, Link and Zelda are dressed in rather masc attire (her with her typical BOTW & TOTK trousers, boots and blouse, him, with his famous Twilight princess outfit), Zelda says "Wait just a minute... someone here needs to be femme...". Next panel, Zelda wearing her Twilight princess dress and accessories, Link wearing his Frostbite outfit from TOTK, both femme, but still uncoordinated, game iteration-wise.

this comic page starts with melinoë rushing forward, thinking "almost there, brother!" once she reaches the mirror of night, she sees zagreus in the distance talking to someone offscreen, wondering if he's talking to someone. (zagreus is usually alone when she meets him.) "are you sure it got in my hair?", zagreus asks. "other side, zag," the other voice responds.

in the next page, we see Thanatos in the foreground. he's on Zagreus's bed, pulling up the sheets to hide his chest. both he and Melinoë ask at the same time, "Zagreus, who is that?!" in the next panel, Zag tries to explain: "This is- er, *was* Thanatos..." in the background, Thanatos has 'poofed' out of the scene. Melinoë bows and apologizes for the interruption, her expression amused.
