The adults in the family stopped going to work. Volunteers now drop off groceries. The only members of the household who go outside are nephews and nieces who catch the bus to school. However, they struggle to concentrate in class, worrying that ICE might return while they're gone.

We finally got gun-control.

Chuck Schumer's starting position should be as maximalist as possible -- complete abolition of ICE, resignations of Bovino, Homan, Noem and Miller, unmasking of all agents, and prosecution by state authorities of the murderers.

Don't start with what looks like a compromise half-measure.

That being said, I am so proud of Minneapolis. Our neighbors understand that this isn’t over until there are no more family separations. I will continue to see you all on the streets as we observe and protect our immigrant neighbors from ICE.

On NPR on Friday, there was a story of a 4-year-old--an American citizen--who hasn't left her house since early December, not even to play in the yard. And her 8-year-old brother recently stopped going to school, too. Their father is undocumented, and the family doesn't want to risk him being taken.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

When the Secretary of Defense celebrates the murder of a man who took care of veterans, I'd say he lost the plot but I'm not sure he ever had a grasp on it in the first place.

I always say send an armed militia to investigate white collar crimes while simultaneously firing the actual white collar crimes prosecutors

So Kyle Rittenhouse, who attended a protest armed with a loaded assault rifle and killed 2 people is a right-wing hero.

But Alex Pretti who had a holstered, permitted handgun, was recording ICE, and tried to help a pepper-sprayed woman deserved to die?

No one is buying this BS.

The attorney general is threatening a state that the federal government will continuing murdering its citizens in the streets unless they provide access to state voter rolls, a lawless demand which is the subject of ongoing litigation.

Watching this old man take a water bottle and slowly walk into a mist of tear gas is going to stay with me. Everything they do to make people scared empowers them all the more.

Stephen Miller is unelected, unconfirmed, getting people killed, and shredding the social fabric of this nation. Members of Congress should be demanding his exit from the Executive Branch.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

This morning, federal immigration agents publicly executed an observer at 26th and Nicollet Ave South. Observers are out in the community because they care about our immigrant neighbors. They do this out of love and helping keep families together. 1/

The Star Tribune reports that federal agents "attempted to order local police from the scene" where a man was shot and killed by feds this morning, but Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara refused and "instructed his officers to preserve the scene."
