Amelia Randall has been chosen to be the Cabinet member for Adult Social Care at KCC.
I am deeply concerned at why Reform thought it was appropriate for her to lead Adult Social Care giving her history on OnlyFans.
Thousands of residents are now in her hands.

I am hearing a lot reports from residents and former cllrs (of multiple parties) of the lack of communication from their newly elected Cllrs.

If youβre wondering what your local Reform Cllrs in Kent are up to - well not a lot.
Here are the cancellations of meetings this month.
Appauling! - can we have an audit of their attendance ?
So much for accountability?! I feel for all the candidates who lost their elections.

Incredible effort from everyone involved.
Special shoutout to all of the organisers and volunteers for your assistance, hospitality and encouragement along the way.

Spent this Morning with the Herne Bay LGBTQ+ Society and the Happy Here team having conversations with the local LGBTQ+ community .
I then went to support Herne Bay Library, there are still hats left to claim for free at the library π #hernebayhats
Donβt forget, there are still free woolly hats you can take for free. These homemade warm hats have been knitted by the local Knit and Natter group. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered for this project. We are incredibly lucky to live in such an amazing community.

Just drop them off anytime this week at the library.
Today I assisted KCC Cllr Alister Brady and Sian Pettman at Kingsmead field as part of Tree Planting Week.
It was great to meet Anna from KCC and to meet all of the volunteers who got involved today. Thank you all for a very rewarding morning, and the great biscuits.
KCC are proposing to charge disabled people more money for their care support.
The money (if passed) - will be taken from their Personal Independence Payments (PIP).
To put pressure on the Conservatives and reverse their decision -

This weekend I attended :-
Herne Bay Labour LGBTQ+ coffee social and Raise the Roof art auction at the Beach Creative in Herne Bay.
It was great to have a chat with LGBTQ+ Labour members and participating with local residents to help raise money for the local art community centre.
Let us take a moment to honour those who are no longer with us and reflect on how we can do better in creating a world where everyone is accepted and valued. (3/3)
