Fighting to preserve democracy doesn't prove it didn't work. Fighting anti-democratic efforts is like the tolerance paradox. Being tolerant of intolerance doesn't net you more tolerance. Democratically empowered anti-democracy does not lead to democracy.

People who live in "Cancer Alley" (portion of the Mississippi) can actively witness companies dump toxic waste, witness the impact it has had on their families, see the promised jobs never materialize, and STILL think the EPA will ruin everything.

To them, voting for Democrats means jobs will disappear, babies will be killed, their bank accounts will be emptied and the money given to immigrants and minorities, that Christianity will be illegal, that little children will have gender affirming surgeries.

So, they'd rather support the pedo.

They can actually get hard evidence that Trump had sex with underage teens, and they will still weigh their options and say he was the only choice. Christians will recount the story of King David being an imperfect man chosen to lead.

All of that because they "KNOW" that government is pure evil.

You know what the bad thing is?

They feel conflicted in their love. They don't feel conflicted in their vote. They won't until they are personally impacted in a way that forces a perspective change.
