Happiness this morning looks like a perfect egg over medium with white pepper, garlic salt, and mozzarella cheese over whole grain toast and a can of ginger ale, accompanied by a sweet comic strip from the husband.

Maybe someday I won't flinch and try not to freak out about a random, seemingly innocuous Teams message from my boss. But today is not that day. (It's just checking in but still)

It's more that I feel like it's something I should have known, being as interested in history as I have always been, and knowing that it was hidden doesn't make it more palatable. It's less a personal shame and more of a general one, if that makes sense.

1. Why did I do this? All I feel is guilt.
