I did it over email because I have documentation. I have tangible proof.

my last job literally emotionally abused me on the daily & routinely violated company conduct/harassment laws, but bc I had no 'proof' of it, no one did anything about it.

so don't come for me bc I sent an email.

then I start lighting into him. asking why other coworkers (bc he plays favorites) receive more grace when they make mistakes. why I've had to fight for grace since day 1. why he jumped to conclusions instead of fucking talking to me like an adult.

so my email starts off:

Unless we had some kind of conversation about this, there is no way you would have known if my mistake was earnest or not."

I explain my brain fart of miscalculation to him. not sure if he'll believe it but I mostly did it for my peace of mind

I was mulling over this for a long time. and I ended up sending him an email. I almost was going to let it go. why? because I hate conflict and I lack a backbone. but he's done this to me once before & he does not get to walk the fuck all over me.

yeah, there's no way he would have known. maybe I could have tried to explain that before he fucking blasted an email to my colleagues accusing me of timecard fraud & then basically threatening me by saying that employees have been fired over it before.

and now those 5 employees think I'm out here breaking laws when in reality I'm just fucking unable to count correctly when I'm tired. that's literally it. it's not that deep. my ND brain stopped braining for a second & I counted 10hrs instead of 9.5hrs.

but the worst part about his implicating email, outside of the fact that he didn't even fucking have a conversation with me, was that he included the other 5 employees on it. and there's only 5 of us, so it is pretty easy to deduct who the email was about. (me. it's about me)

which, first of all, if you actually do this intentionally, plz know I don't give a shit. corporations exploit & abuse us in so many ways. so if you can charge a little extra time and get away with it, I heard and saw nothing.

my supervisor accused me of timecard fraud. didn't talk to me, didn't ask why my timecard might be off. just automatically assumed I am trying to steal company time. and guess what? I didn't fucking do that.
