The post war LCC out country estates seem to be rather green, Harold Hill especially so. Merstham, where I grew up seemingly remained many existing trees when the estate was built, but a fair few were lost in 1987 and not replaced.

Nice that they survive. The dozen or so classes that Network SouthEast introduced in the late 1980s/early '90s had murals by Eddie Pond. Almost all were lost on refurbishment.

Common with red generally. A lot of the plastic NSE station signs ended up with the red flash being almost invisible, and I recall seeing more than a few "chalky pink" Vauxhall cars in the '90s.

Thought I had more than this, but my photo organisation isn't great.

Delightful text message trying me I'll be charged a "late fee" for dating to arrive after 18:00, when last entry is 20:00.
