What an amazing three days it has been. At times the crowds aboard 507001 have resembled the busiest rush hour Merseyrail services of the unit’s heyday. Thanks to all who came to see us, and thanks to The Greatest Gathering team and Alstom for putting on this unforgettable event!

During the Greatest Gathering we will be running tours of the inspection pit under 507001 - a rare chance to see under your favourite train! Numbers are limited so be sure to get your time slot ticket from us.

Been a busy few days with members of C507PS at Alstom in Derby. It's farewell to the Farewell destination blind, and the original colour of underframe equipment is now being revealed. All to be ready for The Greatest Gathering in just a few weeks!

Yesterday was another great day with Team 507 in Derby, continuing the job of getting 507001 squeaky clean for The Greatest Gathering. A lot of hard work completed in spite of the heat.
