GitHub - panuelosj/pba-assignment-fluids: Fluids Assignment Spec for UofT Course CSC417 Physics-Based Animation Fluids Assignment Spec for UofT Course CSC417 Physics-Based Animation - panuelosj/pba-assignment-fluids

New fluid simulation assignment for CSC417 just dropped. This one by my PhD student Jonathan Panuelos. I had always intended to have fluid sim in the previous course but never got around to writing the code. Maybe for the best, because Jonathan's version is so good.

We just wrapped up the 5th Summer Geometry Initiative (SGI), bringing 30 Fellows to our cohort of 150+ alumni, who go on to PhD/MS programs, industry jobs, and more. Despite overwhelming success, SGI26 is uncertain thanks to the changing funding landscape. Please help by helping identify sponsors!

I’ll be joining the DGP Lab, working with Prof. Eitan Grinspun, and diving into Computer Graphics and ML

Really excited to tackle cool problems alongside amazing colleagues in Toronto :)

Holding SIGGRAPH Asia 2026 in Malaysia is a slap in the face to the rights of LGBTQ+ people. Especially now, when underrepresented people need as much support as we can possibly give them ! Angry like me ? Sign this open letter to let them know. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Our Summer Geometry Initiative is more popular than ever, with a record # of applicants. But thanks to "2025 problems," SGI needs sponsors for it to survive past 2025. Please contact me if you're interested or have ideas!
