After the set, we soaked our shirts under a bathroom sink and wrapped them around our heads to kill the sting. Still one of the best shows of my life.

Halfway through Crazy Train we looked behind us and EVERYBODY had joined in trying to get past the midway barricade. Sure enough, we all got hit with the refreshing zest of pepper spray.

My favorite Ozzy memory is Ozzfest ‘99 during a Black Sabbath encore. My friends & I decided ”fuck it” and charged forward from our nosebleeder seats as far as we could get until security guards with mobile barricades held us back.

Ozzy is one of like 3 people in Decline of Western Civilization Part 2 that comes off as a decent human being and I always love the scene where Penelope Spheeris interviews him making breakfast while he explains the ups and downs of the business.

It’s a pretty great interview.
