This seems like a good idea.

Acting like populations of people (and the individuals) don't exist is not the way to go--addressing the issues people face in health by generating high quality evidence is better, as pointed out here.

One thing Democratic leadership could do right now is to name an alternate HHS secretary--someone to provide ongoing public updates and health information. And do it for other departments too. Start showing voters what a Democratic government would look like--press conferences, speeches, all of it.

The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.

I think this is the right sentiment about a lot of things but not about inflation. The levels that followed the pandemic were enough to crush incumbents, and did all over the world.

The silence from our universities has been deafening. Tell them to grow a spine and stand up for their scientists!
