It’s so hard. I spent weeks clearly in a maybe pile for a handful of agents (dozens of queries skipped immediately before and after mine) but ultimately haven’t heard anything, so you’re smart to manage your own expectations! Hang in there as the silence is maddening 🤪

I’ve only sent out 3 queries, but it was such a big step for me. This is my second complete MS, and after my first one came so close to getting an agent, I feel I’ve really nailed things on a craft level this time.

Still, after so many ups and downs since starting, I never thought I’d finish.

Oh wow what a journey!! I am so happy you got your miracles. We had a mix of unexplained fertility issues but thankfully it was only a few years of stress for us (I know others who have spent so long 💔). We were very relieved to have our successful pregnancy so I am very fortunate.

RevPit is an awesome community and I’ve found lifelong friends through it! I haven’t been around for a few years but I’ll definitely dip in and out to see some of the fun as you all wait!
