The clean energy transition? Isn't Rhode Island the epicentre for the spike in whale deaths happening on the east coast by all those offshore wind farms?

The idea of harnessing the sun & wind is a really great sounding idea. The reality has been an environmental disaster though. Mining the planet to death, starting deep sea mining, coal furnaces to make solar panels, wiping out nature & diversity. What a mess.

The root cause of biodiversity losses have been known for a very long time.

There's nothing green about destroying forests & deserts with solar farms or killing wildlife with wind farms. Offshore wind also has the distinction of causing a spike in whale deaths. What a disaster.
