This makes sense from my anecdotal experience.

When I'm walking across campus from the parking garage to my office every day, the vast majority of undergrads I see using a smartphone are using that piece of tech as an actual telephone and talking to another human being on the other end.

It's my last day teaching KINES 100 during fall term. Aside from a few hours proctoring the final exam in December, I'm back down to just 3 courses for the rest of the semester once we finish our exam review session that runs between 8:00 and 8:50 am.

It’s a sign of the times that the people who funded the WelcomePAC report that’s telling Democrats they are “out of touch” with ordinary Americans are mostly billionaires, hedge fund managers, VCs, and corporate execs.
