read two Lily King novels in two days and I’m emotionally destroyed 🫠

I cried for atleast an hour afterwards 😭

I’m Ghanaian and we definitely eat fufu in the same bowl as the soup! 👀 But meals like banku or kenkey (I think those are comparable to Nigerian swallow type dishes? Not sure) would be separate bowls.
