What's probably more important than brand, I would think, is the fact that the formula is preservative free. So if you have one that works well for you, maybe look to see if they offer that formulation. (Of course, what your actual doctor tells you when the time comes is paramount)

From my husband having surgery in both eyes about a year ago, from what I observed is stock up on lubricating drops. The ones his doc recommended was preservative free Blink drops. He still uses them when his eyes start feeling dry.
