Super Smash Bros the Gathering would be phenomenal.
Fun fact, you can currently fill a pod with Smash Ultimate characters: pick 4 of Cloud, Sephiroth, Ryu, Ken, and Sonic.
This does not let you cast the back unless you have 7 mountains. You exile until you hit any nonland and then can cast that spell if it meets the criteria.
Bring to Light exiles a card that meets the criteria but then blanket lets you cast it.
If I had an electro-industrial band I'd probably call it

13.11.2025 23:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0For most things that in the past I wanted a 4c commander for, there's enough going on now that I could just make 2-3 decks of different color IDs with the cards I was interested in, with little overlap.
13.11.2025 19:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have 0 4c lists and 4/5c lists are the least common color IDs I've built. I can think of 1 other 5c deck (Jared PW Domain) and 1 4c deck (Yidris alt-casts) but otherwise I've mostly avoided it. Gone are the days where I longed for a 4-5c typal commander for specific tribes to "run everything".
13.11.2025 19:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I have exactly two five color decks:
One is a 5c Lurrus Companion deck with a mostly-useless Jensen Carthalion at the helm. It's an exercise in mana restriction over color restriction.
The other is Wandering Minstrel "Oops All Spells", 5c is necessary to run all the MDFC lands.

12.11.2025 23:42 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've got a casual commander deck based on flickering or flipping Emet-Selch with a bunch of instants on the stack so they don't get exiled to the Yawg Will effect. Cauldron + other flip creatures features, along with Ultimecia and Sephiroth.
12.11.2025 05:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I would run Rampant Growth before KReach/Cultivate 9 out of 10 times and yet those two are wildly popular.
11.11.2025 15:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Correct!

10.11.2025 02:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Lmao I saw the spoiler and saw it was a white instant for 2W with "creatures you control gain indestructible until eot" and my brain automatically filled it in as Flawless Maneuver, what the fresh heck is this actually?
09.11.2025 23:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0On a few rare occasions I've had a tight enough theme/restrictions that the core package of cards I want to run doesn't break the 63ish card mark. But generally I end up with like 80+ and then have to pare down.
09.11.2025 23:44 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Always been fond of this guy, it's a highly-tutorable etb shatter with a relevant card type and a great interaction with Kiki-Jiki effects
08.11.2025 20:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The cards that are rebels specifically are either A) Fire Nation deserters, or B) Jet and his gang, a group of Earth Kingdom citizens engaged in more violent direct clashes with the occupying Fire Nation.
07.11.2025 21:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The primary conflict in the show is with the Fire Nation, an imperial force that has been waging a 100-year-long war on the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes (and wiped out the Air Nomads at the start). The protagonists are made up of people of those nations fighting back.

07.11.2025 20:58 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Definitely the best ally with a typal effect.
There's arguably better "cards that happen to be allies", but even then a 2/3 chromatic lantern for 1G is pretty darn solid.
Zulaport Cutthroat is definitely my most-played ally.
One of the most ridiculous games of Magic I ever played was with Temur Omnath where I had a bonkers opening with Burgeoning into t2 Omnath + Manabond, draw a bunch of cards, t3 play some landfall token makers, t4 Great Aurora for 40.

03.11.2025 13:02 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0After Nixon's impeachment, the Republicans vowed to never allow that to happen again, and the time since has been an ongoing concerted effort to corrupt and degrade both the media and the judiciary. And we are living with the result.
01.11.2025 03:12 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's a layered pun because "well" can also be a hole in the ground you get water from
31.10.2025 18:10 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0AspiringSpike has gone on quite a bit about how Titan has been a borderline-broken tier 1 deck for like 5 straight years, but WotC won't do anything about it because there's like 10 people who know how to play the deck really well and everyone else is like -15% WR compared to them so it looks iffy
