I won't mention the book I just finished. But it had a plot like "An astronaut's space shuttle malfunctioned & he was marooned in space. Just kidding, the shuttle worked all along & the astronaut got home safely." The story felt like it was held together w duct tape & baling wire.😵‍💫 #booksky

My preference for stories is that the ending stays true to the character building & setting. I love a plot twist, but not one that completely contradicts all the information already given. #booksky

I chatted w a spritely old lady whose team is in the World Series. She watched the whole game & was totally upbeat today. I had to go to bed in the 11th inning. 🫣 Turns out she's 97! May we all grow old & stay up late.💗

Today's shooting/fiery pain kept me in bed & is making sleep difficult. The upside to that, is that I got to hear owls hooting from my open window. Merlin identified them as great horned owls (totally common in my city). It was still exciting for me tho.🦉🎉 #Spoonsky
