This sucks for many reasons. One is that Rachel is an absolutely essential voice that deserves to be paid for her work so we can get more of it.

We honor the dead and fight like hell for the living.

I generally think the thing that has plagued this government is not bad ideas, or misplaced priorities, misidentification of problems or a lack of responses but a relative inattention to the very real value of speed.

Having peed in most of the female Capitol Hill facilities without issue, this is so stupid.

Ultimately, the echo chamber commentary is meant to inoculate the population with increasingly far right and openly fascist rhetoric while also pushing that any other speech is not as important and is based on not understanding the fascists argument. It’s an astroturf. We don’t accept fascism.

At least 67k small businesses on Shopify use Canada Post, and will be affected by them going on strike right on BFCM weekend. Canada Post has a government monopoly on delivering to P.O. boxes and is the only carrier supplying rural areas. This should not be allowed.

Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke is calling for the end of Canada’s public postal service because its workers have gone on strike.

The company’s leaders are increasingly pushing extreme right-wing positions in Canada. Gutting Canada Post would effectively end delivery in many rural and remote communities.
