Yea, I have had conversations exactly like that with AIs, to the point I have them cross check stuff, and it still doesnt work. They cant learn so they get into error cycles. Useless

Information is very sparse for this machine. The cartridge isn't compatible with early machines and seems to have some kind of multiplexed bus.

ok, closing it up and moving on...The yard lights, are upside down, sealed, burried tea candle cups. The leds are set to run just bright enough to not screw up night vision. I made an error with some of them, and set them too low, they have disappeared in the grass :/ They pull about 0.5-2mA ea

despite the charger not dumping, the battery voltage is ok. It will get a bit dodgy in winter. The charge controller disables the load under about 11V to protect the battery.

The red LED indicates the battery is fully charged and its dumping all the power from the solar panel. I had hoped to see it glowing :/
To make sure it cant brick, the system puts the solar power straight(diode) into the battery, then shunts excess.

Here is the charger/controller box that manages the battery charge and turns the lights on and off (it uses the solar panel dipping under 1.4V to turn the yard lights on)

I have some front end modules for a tektronix scope, I have been pondering a DIY digital scope for a while.

god, it seems like it was just 30 years ago...
Meh, but its not that long anyhow, it came out late.

There is a descent haul of chips off this, the main ADCs are 14 bit, 65MSPS, and there are also some 2.5MSPS 16 bit ones. I still have ambitions of making a digital scope...

My recollection is that the motherboard in the mowerbot takes about 3A of 5V. One of the converter modules on the power supply board is rated for 6A of 5V, I might consider an upgrade later.

The computer power supply itself is a surprise, its what seems to be a rando brand Chinese one. I am told this same name is a German company that makes good supplies, this one does have a "made in china" on it. meh.

The power supply has this HUGE ASS transformer in it, for converting 240 down to 120 for other internal devices. HEAVY

The drive bay is a removable module, one of the drives is an SSD, which is nice, It might make a nice upgrade for my shop jukebox.

bits and bops, a fan grille, which honestly I think I could do better on my CNC, Nice big fans, and a few Y cables.

They taped the PC connectors on this, and I can understand why. Have you ever had one of these come loose? I have!
