Finished Wonder Man. I think he would have liked it. I just wish he was here to see it.

Recovery is going well. Hurts more today, but that's usual. Hardest is the hip and calf pain. Hard to find a comfortable position to lay in. That's what the oxy and tizanadine are for.

Out of surgery and feeling good. Pains better and even incision pain is manageable. I should recover pretty quickly.

Tomorrow at 11am I'm undergoing a laminectomy and lumbar microdiscectomy to hopefully relieve the ongoing pain in my left sciatic nerve. It's not going to be as invasive as my neck surgery back in 2018. It's outpatient and I'll be going home after. Worst part is the liquid diet today. >.<

New figurine came in.

The realization that I'm not a Junior anymore, that I'm the only Wayne DeLisle, has been hitting me harder than anything else. Junior has been my identity since the day I was born. It feels weird. I've been doing pretty good overall, but that realization really triggered my grief.

At 4:43am this morning (June 29th 2025) my father, Wayne DeLisle Sr passed away. We are not having any viewing or memorial at this time.

I go down Sam Newell by Independence a lot so I see the swasticars parked where Matthew's 10 second run theater used to be. Pisses me off every time.

Got water and sewage leaks under the house. We have to replace all the plumbing from the fixtures down. Thankfully the parents have good credit and the financing isn't bad. Once the crawlspace isn't a health hazard they can get the job done in one day. Along with brand new, top of the line toilets.

Nice relaxing day of running errands and shopping with my wonderful husband, Andy. Plus lunch at IHOP, the chain (not the actual location, that one's closed) of our first date 10 years ago.

One down, one to go with decent progress already.

Not bad for 2 hours. Just 5 more bags to go. My butt and legs need to get off the floor for a while.
