Oh god please let it be RAM production. I want to build a desktop! Editing videos makes my poor laptop very sad🙎🏻♂️😅

Disabled lefty shouting into the void.

16.02.2026 19:54 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Posh British journalists nodding along to the theories of their crackpot mates they met at private school without considering the wider public health outcomes?
Never! I'm sure this is a very isolated incident and has never happened since. Our establishment is deeply serious /S
2nd vote for wikimedia commons here. I've used it a lot for public domain images recently. Haven't noticed any AI.

It cannot be good for growth to have people needlessly struggling through life. I'd be way more productive if medicated for the ADHD I almost certainly have 😅
*I don't play
Next the diary industry will come for any non cow milk. Cow and gate will have to change to "replacement boob drink"

11.02.2026 13:24 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The thing that really gets me is how far these failures get felt. Why do they handle all neurology for all of east Anglia? It's a single point of failure. We need a dispersed system that's closer to people in their communities. Not a mega hospital that treats us like statistics.
11.02.2026 01:28 — 👍 0 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0I hope they are ruthless - but deep down I know it won't scratch the surface. I've been under their care for 10 years. It was poor at the start and worse now.
No way to prove it ofc but really feel like negligence from addenbrookes has made me more disabled.

I have one similar to this. So many parts available. It's great!
(I did have to clean out a bunch of decades old flour that had accumulated inside though which was pretty grim 🤢)
These are decisions that labour has made as a collective. Regardless of whether they had a bigoted pedophile enabler whispering in their ear - it's labour who did this.
It's not safe to trust their empty promises of change. There are people who won't survive the next betrayal.
So it was Mandelson who forced MPs vote to scrap winter fuel allowance? Who suspended MPs who voted to end the 2 child cap? Who made the DWP go on a media blitz to turbo charge rhetoric against disabled people before the big benefits U-turn? Who implemented the new section 28 against trans people?
10.02.2026 10:44 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0This makes it sound like accountability is a thing here but I assure you it isn't.
It's really just becoming a nucleation point for all the simmering tension within labour from the right wing policy positions they've implemented being very unpopular to the point the party could get wiped out.
He wants the job. You don't want to be seen with the knife before a coup. Publicly he'll look loyal but I guarantee he's having conversations to drum up some votes in the PLP.
Starmer was very supportive of Corbyn before he became leader. It's how these labour together types operate.
Great ☺️ it's exciting to have the opportunity to work with an author!
I will be in touch!
(Thank you)
I will let you know when I've read awakened and if you're interested you can have some input on what I do for my binding project ☺️
(currently reading through Andy Weir's books before PHM comes out in cinemas - then I'm reading my first Sanderson book before London comic con... So May/June time?)
Now I'm trying to pay the bills with the hobby as it's something I can fit around the fluctuations of my MS. No idea if it'll work but I think I've just about broken even after about 6 months 😅
YouTube is my attempt to get some more stable income compared to client work.
A hand bound book with a yellow bookcloth cover that has hand drawn on cover art of a tall man in a checkered shirt with a walking stick standing next to a shorter woman with a zebra print dress holding up her hand to make a peace sign. Over the top of this drawing is the title "until we met" The book contains all of the messages that the couple sent each other between meeting online in the first COVID lockdown and then finally meeting in person a few months later.
I first got into it when I thought I'd make a cute little booklet for my now fiancé with all the messages we sent each other between matching in lockdown and finally meeting a few months later... It turned out to be 600 pages! 😅
It's a little rough but it's my first book ☺️
P.S. it's good to see your publisher has it on kobo too! I have had problems with kobo for accessibility but at least it's a means to buy the eBook without Amazon 😅
09.02.2026 12:17 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This is really cool! I'll have to take a look at it soon. I have a (tiny) YouTube channel where I do bookbinding/rebinds/reviews - I could cover awakened ☺️
(though it might take me a while. I'm currently re-working my video style and procrastinating getting my latest project finished 🫣😅)
But the same could be said for other minorities I guess 🤷🏻♂️
There's less "disability culture" though & a lot of societal factors specific to disability that makes it hard to coalesce. Losing those links because of musk has really set things back. I get so pissed thinking about it.
My guess is that it's an interaction mapper and blobs of communities will form the more people reply to other people like them.
I think that disabled people just exist in every space and we all have our own interests so it "waters down" intra community interactions.
...
I can't seem to find any concentrations of disabled people. Just seems to be smudged into "progressive" or "leftist" spaces. It's odd. Many of us follow each other - though I think a lot of the community I knew on twitter got atomised in the transition here. That's a shame.
09.02.2026 11:11 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I wonder how much the US-centric vibe of bluesky will influence this? "Medical professional" accounts for British Vs American healthcare people feel very different to me - and if you're lumped in with the wellfluencers who cosplay medics then it's likely to be a lower interaction rate 🤷🏻♂️
09.02.2026 10:44 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's wild how utterly captured the UK government has been by this circle of elites for decades... And they would have gotten away with it too... If they weren't also nonces.
Fair enough on pedophilia being a red line but the naked corruption we've all known about for years should ruined them.
And I'm sure that none of it considers how this big existential threat of a reform government could twist the legislation and infrastructure they're creating into an apparatus to harm people they do care about.
(even if they don't care about disabled people getting harmed )
and you can use all of that capacity with lithium iron phosphate instead of just half with lead acid - and it doesn't self discharge either.
I think it only added 2kg to the weight as well.
Been running it for 5 years now. I'd have had to replace the old batteries at least 3x in that time.
I'm surprised that chemistry swaps aren't a more mainstream concept as well.
Swapping away from sealed lead acid to LiFePo4 batteries gave my inherited 20 year old mobility scooter a whole new lease of life!
I only have to charge it like once a month now. Went from 20ah to 100ah.
I'm pretty sure the flyer design process went something like this - "what do people like that we haven't destroyed the brand of yet? ... Bees ??! 🤷🏻♂️"
To be fair I'm surprised they didn't just print everything in green to muddy the waters like many of their MPs do 😅
I'm a green member and usually have very positive interactions with Zack & Green accounts. My comment came from a place of concern.
I do think we need to be careful about being too willing to discount valid and constructive criticism.
There will be bad faith attacks but not everything is 😅
I got accused of being a labour bot for criticising the graph Zack used that showed change in support rather than the percentage of support in gorton & denton.
I felt it was misleading and using graphs like this will undermine the credibility of the greens over time.
