What a great era-appropriate way to name it.

I’m letting you know I definitely want to see the press releases from 75 calling the Sounders-Timbers relationship “a budding rivalry.”

To be honest, I thought that was a cleaner, and true, way to say a shorter version of “when L-P shuttered the NASL Timbers in 82, they put stuff in storage and had to clean out that storage at one point, at which time they gave it all to the person who is letting me use it for research.”
