How ever disappointed I may get about an ITFC performance I KNOW that my own level of disappointment will be nothing compared with the guys on the pitch who have committed their heart and soul into succeeding and have come up short.

I have a son who is an elite High Jumper. I know first hand how much he beats himself up when he performs poorly. I’m just thankful that in that sport he doesn’t have supporters who would think that screaming, booing and abusing him would make him feel better, and perform any better.

It’s bizarre how some fans reserve their most poisonous vitriol for their OWN players. We have a guy sits behind us in the West Stand who sounds like he’s going to explode at times. Same mentality when it comes to England ‘supporters’ sending death threats to Men AND Women players for failing them.

Just wait til Nadhim Zahawi hears about this! He’s going to go into meltdown…

KMck has been critical of the atmosphere at PR this season, on more than one occasion - and, tbh, he does have a point. What can be done to lift it? Personally, I don’t think it helps having Blue Action stuck up in the corner of the Cobbold. Is it all just flat by comparison with the 22-24 seasons?
