Just got off the phone with President Trump.

In our meeting earlier, I shared my concerns about Columbia student Elmina Aghayeva, who was detained by ICE this morning.

He has just informed me that she will be released imminently

Fetterman went out of his was to get there early enough to get a seat on the aisle, apparently for the express purpose of shaking the Orange Buffoon;s hand, AND he wore a suit which is very, very rare for him!

Donald Trump’s State of the Union Was Long and Wrong But at least the President thinks everything is going great.

"Forget the predictions and all the pregame hype. There was no resetting of the narrative, no course correction or even a meaningful explanation of what the course is," writes @sbg1.bsky.social www.newyorker.com/news/letter-...

The New York Post is not a very reputable publication, it’s more akin to the National Enquirer.

Here’s new and irrefutable evidence from the Epstein files that Howard Lutnick made false statements and was misleading about his interactions with Jeffrey Epstein. It hasn’t yet caused a storm. So please give it a read and share widely.

In the way Charlie Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate fell in love on a murder spree, Lewandowski and Kristi Noem were fated for one another. Which may be unfair. Starkweather and Fugate killed two dogs, while Kristi Noem has only copped to murdering one.

I may find your comparison more sardonically humorous than most given that I’ve lived in Lincoln, NE since 1975 & have several friends, lifelong Lincoln residents, who lived in the neighborhood where business man and family were murdered, they were in Jr High at the time quite the stories they tell.

While we’re debating whether or not Trump called into C-SPAN using a pseudonym to rant about the Supreme Court, let’s not lose sight of how we’re all in agreement this is something he would do and this is the person with the nuclear codes.

10% yesterday.

15% today.

What $70 million in taxpayer money buys: a private luxury jet for Kristi Noem and Corey Lewandowski to jet-set around on.

And we’re supposed to believe it’s used for deporting undocumented immigrants.

What problem is Trump's new global 10% tariff meant to solve?

If it's about leverage, ask: How much leverage do you get from a tariff that disappears in 150 days?

If it's onshoring: Who builds new factories based on tariff that disappear before the factory is built?

It's a tax. That's all it is.

For those who think it important for the Nation to impose more tariffs, I understand that today's decision will be dis-appointing. All I can offer them is that most major decisions affecting the rights and responsibilities of the American people (including the duty to pay taxes and tariffs) are funneled through the legislative process for a reason. Yes, legislating can be hard and take time. And, yes, it can be tempting to bypass Congress when some pressing problem arises. But the deliberative nature of the legislative process was the whole point of its design. Through that process, the Nation can tap the combined wisdom of the people's elected representatives, not just that of one faction or man. There, deliberation tempers impulse, and compromise hammers disagreements into workable solutions. And because laws must earn such broad support to survive the legislative pro-cess, they tend to endure, allowing ordinary people to plan their lives in ways they cannot when the rules shift from day to day. In all, the legislative process helps ensure each of us has a stake in the laws that govern us and in the Nation's future. For some today, the weight of those virtues is apparent. For others, it may not seem so obvious. But if history is any guide, the tables will turn and the day will come when those disappointed by today's result will appreciate the legislative process for the bulwark of liberty it is.

These words by Supreme Justice Gorsuch should be printed, in full, on tomorrow’s front pages.
