This is why Vance was put on the ticket. Use Trump to get in office, and wrangle as much of Project 2025 into being as they could, before it became politically expedient to cut him loose. Then Vance takes over to seem like the reasonable, less-rapey option, to secure those changes.

I got my first set of 1e AD&D books from a classmate who was desperate to get rid of them. His family's church found out about the group he was playing with (mostly kids in the church), and were burning all of their books, etc. They hadn't found out he was involved, so he sold off his stuff.
