Doing the thing where I love a book series so much that I’m unintentionally avoiding reading it so it won’t end.

I WILL SAY THOUGH - Diem, our protagonist - is usually VERY smart and something is happening in this book that is so obvious but she has not even considered ONCE and I want to shake her.

400 pages into Heat of the Everflame, book 3 of the Kindred’s Curse series and this has quickly made its way to my god tier fantasy series list. I’m going to be so so so sad when it’s over.

By far the most interesting part of the Dune universe are the Bene Gesserit and god in so psyched for the Dune:Prophecy show. 5 mins in and I’m obsessed.

Whoops I forgot about Bluesky for a few days haha. I found a guy on YouTube who I really liked who did reviews! So after I had a sense of what I was looking for from TikTok I watched him compare a bunch for hours like a psycho. His username is Hipyo Tech! But truly TikTok started it all.

Everyone I’ve talked to is like “it seems silly but the joy it brings me is enough to pull me back from the edge” and honestly that’s the energy I need in 2025. I’m so glad you love yours!

The creamy keyboard is how I started on this journey. The amount of tiktoks I’ve watched to nail down the EXACT sound I like is embarrassing hahah. But I think it will increase productivity! Which did you go with?

!!! I got the Leobog hi75 in green and white with MDA keycaps and nimbus switches. I thought about building it myself but I liked this prebuild enough and figure I can get new keycaps at any time which is the main reason I’d build. I’m so excited about it. I can’t wait for the thocky typing sounds.

I was feeling unsure about the spark of the everflame books after book 1 but good lord book 2 is so good. Like book 1 was fine. I enjoyed it. 2? Political intrigue, death, insane yearning, the FMC finding herself. I’m screaming through every page.

What if, as a new disassociation hobby, I started getting REALLY into modding keyboards.
