So, can anybody tell me what are we doing to stop the ongoing coup? We are out here protesting, making our voices heard, etc but there has been zero semblance of a unified front from the democrats. No leader to look to, no words of encouragement from anyone but Bernie, AOC, etc. It feels hopeless.

@sanders.senate.gov where are the democrats to call out the Nazi behavior at the inauguration celebration? Why am I not seeing any attempt to hold them accountable?

I abhor the timeline we’re living in. Fuck anybody who voted for this man. Fuck anybody who sat this one out out of “principle “ or whatever the hell you want to chalk it up to.

Nazi’s are back in power, in the most powerful country in the world. You all are idiots for allowing this to happen.

Don’t waste time arguing with the people telling us that’s not what happened. They’re not mistaken, they are engaged in propaganda.

Faced with authoritarianism in power, it is crucial we trust our own eyes.

How is it that politicians with clear ties to foreign adversaries manage to keep their positions, while any government worker or contractor would lose their job instantly if the same came up in a background investigation? The double standard is infuriating. Accountability shouldn’t stop at the top.

I think you’ve misunderstood the context of my argument. I agreed that overconsumption is a problem. However, I believe that we have larger issues that deserve the spotlight than something like this which is quite a divisive topic which people are bound to disagree on.

Not sure where you got the idea that I’m against that. My point is that we have bigger issues to focus on than turkeys being consumed on thanksgiving. I agreed it’s an issue, but is not the something that I would consider a higher priority than say income inequality, climate change or healthcare.

This is why we get flamed by conservatives. Focusing on stupid issues like this. Turkey is good, and can be cooked to be moist if done properly. I agree that reducing over-consumption of the bird is probably a good thing, but let’s not share these idiotic viewpoints that make us look stupid.
