The one tweak I would add to that is to (also) have key notes in a physical notebook rather than electronic form. In my interviews there was rarely an opportunity to pull out a phone/computer between meetings. Its much nicer to pull out your notebook rather than a phone in a one-to-one.

Funny how most of my 4yo and 5yo’s jokes fit the β€œfuture microbiome scientist” category also.
Their one passable one from 100s of attempts though is β€œwhy did the cow lose the race?” Because it only had one leg.
