Waking up.

Until we understand the depths of our collective human depravity, our wisdom will be broken and life will seem meaningless. Until we understand the doctrine of God’s holy regenerative grace, we will not have true hope nor the ability to hope for eternal dreams.

Jesus will return and the heavens and the earth will be rejoined and the city of God will be established with Justice BUT - when is that time? We don’t know, and our job is just to be ready. Don’t let anyone tell you they know a date. That is a clear sign they are a false teacher. ✝️

Kirk is dead bc the tribes of power both believe they’re never wrong and both believe violence might be ok if it is against my enemies. He is part of a systematic pendulum of death and destruction that do not represent Christ. We proclaim peace where there is no peace. We all need to stand down.

The creation of humanity is quite miraculous imo. There are two books of revelation from God. One is written, the other is nature and science itself. I don’t see a disjucture. We were given stewardship over creation. It is obvious that we would do good or evil. God doesn’t break reality.

Except not if it is a cosmological reality and not fiction. Might want to dig a bit deeper. Some of the greatest intellectual minds have been convinced. Might be a good investigation.

You missed the part about the resurrection. The crucifixion wasn’t the end of the historical record and the church was founded as a mission to care for the world and bring life. “He is risen” centers liturgy, and every Sunday we celebrate the present Spirit of Christ at the table in celebration.

Not magic but a living person that continues to change lives today. On the part we agree on. ICE is out of control but will be held responsible for all evil they’ve done. Like all evils, there are movements and reactions that challenge and push back. Empires do not last forever.

This is about the living. The mission is to enter suffering with those hurting and bear good news in every generation. Do not think that everyone representing as a Christian is living as one. If people are not fed, clothed, and delivered from evil and oppression, these are not sent by Jesus.
